This eyeglass chain consists of a single strand of mixed chains with tiny beaded charms. At least ten vintage necklaces are combined to create this unique piece. Beads are from the 1970′s and were rescued from a closed US jewelry factory. Chains may vary slightly ensuring you will have a truly one-of-a-kind piece! The new Galileo is the featured photo, we are out of the tiny shells chain, but love the new diamond version.
You can also wear this piece as a necklace by hooking the two glasses holders together after study hour is over.
All vintage components are carefully hand selected and cleaned before they are transformed into Dirty Librarian Chains.
Eyeglass chains are packaged in a special DLC jewelry box and are secured onto a printed book card. Sheets of vintage dictionary pages protect the jewelry during transit. An authenticity card is also included. All jewelry is made by hand in our Brooklyn studio and usually ships within 2-3 business days.
